Artificial intelligence under full control
We design private AI environments for financial institutions, insurers, healthcare, industry and energy, public administration, and organisations bound by sector-specific confidentiality or by their clients’ contractual requirements. The data of these organisations stays within an area they control themselves, and every transfer outside it requires informed, documented approval.
Sovereignty scale
The scale covers four levels of control over the model and the data. Different processes within the same company often use different levels.
Level 1 — public service under contract
The provider’s model, with data protected by contractual terms. A fast and cost-effective choice for use cases with standard confidentiality requirements.
Level 2 — model in the organisation’s cloud
A model running in the organisation’s own subscription (Azure, GCP or AWS), in an agreed region and under its access control. This is our default level.
Level 3 — open models in the organisation’s infrastructure
The organisation’s own hardware or a private cloud. Full control over the model, the data and the solution lifecycle, with all processing taking place inside the organisation.
Level 4 — the organisation’s own AI environment
Models, a company knowledge layer, agents, an access gateway, monitoring and cost allocation, operating as an internal IT service with a catalogue and support levels.
We match the sovereignty level to the requirements and challenges the organisation faces.
It is a deliberate decision, made together with the organisation and reflecting its approach to data security, cost and control over its solutions.
Scope of the environment
For levels three and four, we design the environment, its architecture and its operating principles:
- model selection matched to use cases, quality requirements and operating costs,
- runtime architecture for the models,
- company knowledge layer that solutions draw on when working with documents and data,
- access gateway with authentication and usage logging,
- cost and performance monitoring,
- operating principles: management of the environment, of change and of the model lifecycle.
From the outset, the environment operates as an internal service with an owner, a catalogue, a support level and change management.
Provider independence
We design solutions so that replacing a model is a routine operation. In critical processes, we place an intermediate layer between the application and the model and agree a fallback plan in advance. The organisation then stays fully in control whenever a provider changes its model’s behaviour, pricing or terms.
What stays with the organisation
The environment, complete documentation and the competencies of the team that uses and manages it. We document everything so that the organisation’s team can take over the environment in full.
The greater the share of work an organisation entrusts to artificial intelligence, the more control over the system that work relies on matters. A private environment gives the organisation that control in full.
